Richard Francis

Chief Richard Francis has served with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office since 2007 and is an adjunct professor of Criminal Justice at Seminole State College. He teaches nationally on school safety through the National Tactical Officers Association and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. Chief Francis also serves as a school safety consultant with the School Safety Advocacy Council. His professional experience and service as Vice President of the NAMI Florida Board of Directors reflect his strong commitment to ensuring that mental health supports and resources are accessible to all—especially youth.
